My Teacher, My Hero


Students are deeply affected by the teacher's love and affection, their character, their competence, and their moral commitment. Teachers become a model for their students. The students try to follow their teachers in the manners, costumes, etiquette, style of conversation and their get up. They are their ideal.

The best teachers have fabulous characters--full of spitthre and vinegar--who love what they do and convey, enthusiam for learning, respect for responsibility, and a certain joie de vivre. I am very proud that I have a teacher like them. They always encourage us to learn because knowledge is the key to success. Sometimes they are angry with us because they want us to be correct. So I consider them as my hero in their own little way.

Kannawidan 2011

Every year the City of Vigan celebrated the Fiesta of Vigan as well as the Kannawidan Festival because it is the Bigueños tradition since I was born in this Earth. This occassion is very much awaited event of all the Bigueños. When we say Kannawidan, it is the time for us to show our native products to our beloved people around Vigan. We noticed that every Kannawidan festivals, there is a bazaar of all the products of Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, and even Cordillera Region like the Baguio products and many more, And as a tradition I usually go to take that bazaar to take a look and I'll go to take the Bongro Ice cream and that ice cream is made up of red bell pepper, ampalaya, and squash. All of that favors I really appreciate the ampalaya favor because it taste as an ordinary ice cream. I like it very much that Kannawidan Festival. I will not missed that festival next year and hoping that coming Kannawidan will become more organize and more enjoyable.
